Whatever you like

clearly, from the amount of mixed responses from near on every brand out there, its just down to personal preference and your own experience. Get whatever you like the look of, as long as its a reliable brand.

Deathwish boards suck

I bought a deathwish board from west 49 and in the first 2 days it got a huge chip on the front, a small chip on the back, and the plies were coming apart!!!! DONT buy em

Bad boards

I bought a last exit board and the trucks snapped in 2days
—Guest I'm a good skater

zero

The Zero deck I bought lasted me a weak and snapped doing a tre flip on flat ground. I would recommend finding deck company that is based in your country and that makes their decks in your country. This will save you money and so far I've had nothing but solid decks since I started buying brands from within the UK (my country). These big companies make their decks in china and sometimes they don't even use Canadian maple. Don't support them they just use amazing skateboarders to sell their mass produced crap. Also a lot of them use Canadian maple for the decks they make for their sponsored pro skaters. And then the use cheap maple for the customers. Support your local deck companies and you local skate shop this is better for skateboarding :D peace!

Toys r us sucks target:ok Modest best

i got a toys r us board for my 10th birthday, it sucked the big one, it had plastic trucks no bearings and the board was flat one month later i went to target and got a xgames sponsered board and it lasted me a year. i still use the trucks on my DGK board and the target board is the board i use with my soft trucks
—Guest awesome

good board

Dgk sucks so far id go with birdhouse or alien workshop they hot good population and concave
—Guest nmph

Almost Decks

U guys should get an almost deck they are really high quality
—Guest Jon

its not always the board

sometimes its the skater. everyone is bagging on legitimate and good companies because people are landing sketchy and not bolts. although plan b decks do not snap very easy at all, they do chip quite easy and within 3 months of doing LOTS of flatground, i have a chip on my nose. but lemme tell you, they are impossible to snap. girl is also a great company as well as baker, deathwish, creature, chocolate and habitat. if you are a beginner consider buying a complete so you dont have a shitty board neither a regular skaters board. just one in between to ride and get better. once you can ollie, try investing for a full complete. and i recommend not getting ventures for trucks. they last forever but the kingpin always comes off. so unless you own a tool and have the time for that, go with indy's or thunders. i also recommend to get 53 or 52 size wheels, so you can be versatile with street and park/vert. just my two cents. but keep it in mind

Zinc

My friend bought one of these from argos and it sucks ... The deck is just completely flat and the tail is purpendicular to the whole deck also it chips easily and is by far one of the heaviest in the world ..... In my opinion dont buy mass produced boards especialliy if there completes
