What is Skateboarding all about to you? Skateboarding means something different to just about everybody. Think about it - you could mean riding a vert ramp, technical tricks in the driveway, riding a longboard across campus, bombing a hill with deep curves, slalom, skate park or anything else you like doing on a board with wheels nailed to the bottom. Then there are the deeper meanings that skateboarding can take - freedom, creativity, destruction... So what does skateboarding mean to you? Why do you skate? To you, what IS skateboarding all about? my definition
- skateboarding to me is everything and its wat i do. i skate for fun,get rid of anger,and sadness.but when i skate everything changes.it slows down and i can focus.its a different life for me (tottaly dif life for me). skateing is wat u make out to be. should it be a crime hellz nooo.but it watev that wat skateboarding means 2 me

- for me skateboading is about reaching, a place to be me, i gat feeling when am riding it, am feel like am just... am just like am in paradise. and when am 10 i waz starting like skateboard, bt becouse of our pour private country i did't get a original one, i was skating with the fake one which was having wheels of rolers. later i send it off till am 17 i gat a new skateboard and it was a first project of british or white man came to introduce skateboarding in our country on may 2011. now am go in again

a challenge and escape
- when i think about skating, its like im in another world. its an escape 2 another place, and i think about it wen i hav a tough day. when im doing it, its a challenge, especially at the park. im not that good since i broke my ankle at the park and got grounded from it, but it pushes me. im still not allowed 2 skate, but im really pushing 4 it. its like, my life challenge, ive messed so many things up already, i HAVE to get skating right

I shouldn't have quit
- When I was about 11 I started skating, I loved it more than anything, but my dad diddent he completely got me out of it when I was about 14 I would win contests for best trick, I new everyone at the parks but then I relized my dad hatted me doing it. So I kinda just stopped it's two years later and I just dusted off my board and went out there today, I loved it but all I could do is Ollie and shuv hahaha it's gonna take time to get better but I'm glad I wanna start back up.

Skateboarding is important to me
- skateboarding 2 me, is really important. its my way 2 get away from problems, and i couldnt live without it. i really suck at skating, at least at the skate park. i even broke my ankle there, and my parents have grounded me from the park, but i still fight 4 my freedom skating wherever i can, even though i liv on a dirt road! lol! but seriously, skateing is just my way 2 b me, 2 b different from my friends, and 2 get out there and prove that there is at least one girl skater that loves her sport

- skateboarding is like so totally my life. people find it weird that im a girl who loves skateboarding but i really do. my first board sucked so much it barely rolled, so i just worked on ollies and stuff. ive got a tony hawk board now and i skate every day the weather is remotely good (no thunderstorms or snow). i skate just to feel free and it means everything to me.

- i'm just a kid that skating anywhere.. im not that person who will use apparel cloths.. its not important to me.. just skate and learn more tricks... im just skating because of a 1 girl i really really love.because of her i decide to play extreme sports like SKATEBOARDING to forget her.. then after 2 years i dont wanna stop playing this sports because i love it.. skateboarding is not just a sports its also a life style.. and thats skateboarding means to me

what it means to me
- Honestly I believe that skateboarding to many of us is what we make it. Nobody ever told us to step on a piece of wood, put some wheels on and call it skateboarding. For me skateboarding is something way more than just a board. It can be considered a way of life, a passion to believe in kinda like a religion like you said.Or a way to defy something or be different (which cops and security guards hate).Skateboarding is something that takes a lifetime to understand because to us when we step on a board our whole world seems to light up with excitement and joy.It can be extreme and adredaline filled (which is one of the things i enjoy most) I guess by putting everything on the line and be rewarded for it, is just something amazing. friends and being alone
- Id say Im a street skater, thats the only skating I know besides watching stuff like xgames. But I really like street skating, and sometimes at the park. For me skateboarding is about skating with my friends and skating alone. I like both, and they are both really important to me. With friends I get to be out of my house and have fun and alone skating is great too, to get out and just skate.
