Cheap Rail

Time spent making the obstacle:

Half an hour.

List of supplies:

A metal pipe,

a block of old wood,

a powerful electric screwdriver / drill, and

some washers.

How I built it:

We took the metal pipe and drilled a hole through one end. Then we put the pipe onto two blocks of wood we had lying around, and put a screw through the hole and screwed it into the board. But first we put in a washer inside the pipe so that the screw would hold onto it, and onto the block.

One end of the rail just lays on the ground, and the other is higher in the air on the blocks. So you can ollie up onto the rail on the side with the blocks, a and try and grind down to the lower end.

What I'd do differently

  • The end that doesn't have a block attached to it moves a little, so I might screw it to a board too.
