THAILAND X GAMES CUP DEBUTS IN BANGKOK TODAY
ESPN Teams Up With the World’s Best Action Sports Athletes from the X Games to Support Tsunami Relief Efforts. Today at the Huamak Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, 14 of the best action sports athletes in the world kicked off the inaugural Thailand X Games Cup, to be held March 25-27. Through their performances on the Vert and Moto X ramps, the elite X Games athletes are showing support towards the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation, under the patronage of Thailand’s Royal Family. ESPN TO STAGE FIRST-EVER THAILAND X GAMES CUP, MARCH 24-27 IN BANGKOK
ESPN will team up with some of the world’s best action sports athletes to support tsunami relief efforts with the inaugural Thailand X Games Cup in Bangkok, March 24-27. Held at Huamak Indoor Stadium in Bangkok featuring demonstrations by X Games champions - aggressive inline skaters Yasutoko Brothers from Japan and Fabiola da Silva from Brazil; BMX riders Mat Hoffman, Jamie Bestwick, and Kevin Robinson; and skateboarders Bob Burnquist and Sandro Diaz. ESPN X Games 11 Kickoff Release 6-15-05
ESPN X Games 11 ticket sales kicked off today with a Moto X Freestyle demonstration and mini-race. The cheering section was comprised of celebrities, professional athletes, local figures and approximately 90 students from Los Angeles’ 10th Street Elementary School.
