1st Step: Basic Tricks Skateboarding Instructional Video Review
The 1st Step: Basic Tricks skateboarding instructional video is supposed to teach the basic beginner tricks of skateboarding. While 1st Step: Basic Tricks does look good and cover some important tricks, for the most part the 1st Step series is mediocre at best. The video gets choked with extra stuff, and the instruction could go a little deeper. However, 1st Step isn't badly done - in fact, the video editing is great, and some of the tricks are rare to find teaching on. Read this review!

Tony Hawk Trick Tips Volume 3 - the Secrets of Skateboarding Review
In Tony Hawk's Trick Tips Volume 3, the Secrets of Skateboarding video, Tony Hawk goes back several decades and teaches how to do some old school street skateboarding tricks, along with some more vert tricks. Tony Hawk's Trick Tips Volume Two Review
Tony Hawk's Trick Tips Volume Two follows on the heels of the first Tony Hawk instructional skateboarding video. If you've mastered the basics, then this might be the next video for you. Volume Two continues the in most of the style of Volume One, keeping everything light, comfortable and approachable. It's not quite as well done as the first, but should still be useful for skaters who want more challenge.

The Search for Animal Chin Special Edition DVD Review
The Search for Animal Chin is the classic of classics. When Animal Chin, the 62 year old master of skateboarding goes missing, the Bones Brigade (Steve Caballero, Tommy Guerrero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain) goes on a search for him. The story is simple and fun, and it's obvious that the team had a lot of fun making it. The video is a must see for anyone who cares about skating - it's different from the skate videos of today, more low, simple, and fun.

Skateboarding Explained Instructional DVD Review
Skateboarding Explained is a simple walkthrough DVD for beginner or intermediate skateboarders. But, this skateboarding instructional video is different from other how-to-skateboard movies on the market – instructor and pro skater Dan MacFarlane takes a lot of time to walk truly beginner skaters through the basics and fundamentals, really getting down to what you truly need to know to be a great skater. Skateboarding Explained is very well made, with help for anyone.

Habitat Mosaic Skateboarding DVD Video Review
I think when the video Photosynthesis from Habitat came out I was in awe from the creativity and great skateboarding I saw. I knew instantly that the next video that Habitat did would have a chance to be amazing, maybe even better than Photosynthesis. Then Mosaic came out. You'll notice that the editing and filming ideas used are very artistic and you'll also notice you don't see this stuff anywhere else. Dying to Live - Zero Video Review
Dying to Live, constructed by Zero and Jamie Thomas himself is hands down one of the best skate videos ever made. Dying to Live is what every other video sets out to be. Although some of the earlier Zero videos weren't initially impressive, Dying to Live has progressed Zero to an even greater team. The video itself showcases Adrian Lopez, Matt Mumford, Ryan Smith, Ryan Bobier, Jon Allie, John Rattray, Lindsey Robertson, Chris Cole, and the man himself, Jamie Thomas.

Skateboard Party DVD Review - Red Dragons Skateboarding Video 2
Skateboard Party is a collection of skate footage from the 2004 Red Dragons (RDS) skate tour, plus some extra. Skateboard Party is the second skateboarding video from RDS. The first video, titled "Red Dragons", was a mix of skateboarding clips and wild party scenes featuring a monstrous number of famous pro skaters and other people. Skateboard Party has some of the same feel and fun, but follows the path of the usual skateboarding videos in having segments featuring team riders.

Planes Trains & Skateboards - World Cup Skateboarding 2004 Video Review
Planes Trains & Skateboards follows the World Cup Skateboarding circuit throughout 2004. Different from any other skateboarding video I've seen, Planes Trains and Skateboards feels half like a skate team tour video and half like a skateboarding documentary. The footage is crisp and well organized, mixed with great music, and sprinkled with pro skater commentary. If you are interested at all in pro skating, Planes Trains & Skateboards is a video you will want to have. Read this review.

TotalVid Action Sports Download Site Review
TotalVid is a video downloading site that offers skateboard video downloads, along with BMX, Inline, Mountain Biking, Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfing, Wakeboarding, Wind & Kite Surfing, and other non-sport "extreme life" videos. American Misfits Video Review
The American Misfits video is a random pile of skits, skateboarding and whatever else Jason "Wee Man" Acuna and Laban Pheidias could think to film. Sort of similar to the CKY videos, only raunchier and less funny, the American Misfits video is a disappointment. Still, the American Misfits video has more skateboarding than Jackass, and more turd eating and nudity than the CKY videos, so for someone out there this is just the video you've been searching for. Read this review for more details.

The Logic Video #6 Review
The video is filled with great street skating. Its out on vhs, but you can get it off of totalvid.com for only $1.99 (the download expires after one week). You would save about 8 bucks, so it’s a pretty good deal. It’s 32 minutes of some good stuff, but, I’m a little disappointed at the featured skaters. There parts aren’t that great and they are too short. Paul Rodriguez has the best part filled with lots of front side board slides and backside nose blunts. Read the review for more!

Powell Basic Training Plus DVD Review
The Powell Basic Training Plus DVD is a library of short instructional clips on how to pull off the most popular skateboarding tricks of today. Pros like Steve Caballero, Andy Macdonald and Danny Wainwright explain how to do the trick, and demonstrate it from various angles. The Powell Basic Training Plus DVD has all 18 tricks from the original Basic Training VHS video, plus 11 additional tricks from the 2003 Powell team. It’s a good instructional skate video, but best for intermediate skaters.
