Keep an eye on the board while it spins around, and you are in the air. When you see that it has spun once around, catch it with your feet. This means, put your feet down on the board, with your front foot near the middle or towards the nose, and your back foot near the tail. Make sure you catch it, or it will keep spinning, and you might land with your board sideways (which means you will eat pavement).

Bend your knees when you land, to absorb the shock, keep your balance, and ride away. If you weren't rolling, then just land and keep your balance.

And there you have the Shuvit. Now, to do the POP Shuvit! You know you want to - it looks cooler, and is more fun. But first, you need to understand how to ollie. The ollie will come up again and again as you learn to skateboard, so it's best that you kill the beast and learn it now, if you don't already know. It might take some time - no worries! Read Learn How to Ollie. If you already know how to ollie, then keep going with these instructions and learn to Pop Shuvit!
