Pop the board like you would for a normal ollie, but you want to spin the board with your feet as well. Popping the tail just a little off center like I said will help this. You also want to use your front foot to guide the board, as you drag that foot up the board for the ollie. A lot of skaters accidentally do something like a 180 while learning how to ollie, because they don't have their back foot in the middle of the tail. If you had this problem, then it might pay off now in helping you to 180 ollie a little bit easier!
Remember to use both feet when spinning the board. You spin the board with your feet, and you spin your body with your shoulders. Spin your shoulders in the direction that you want to turn. If you are a regular skater trying the frontside 180, then turn to your left. If you followed the steps on the last page, your shoulders shoulder be wound up the opposite direction, and this will help you get more spin in.
