Nose Stall Tweaks

So you have your nose stalls dialed in ... now, to mess with it! Here are some ways to change it up and add some challenge and showmanship to your nose stalls!

Nollie Nose Stalls - Just like a nose stall, but you nollie up to the obstacle instead of ollying. This is a lot harder than just that, though. You are going to want to pop your board pretty far from the obstacle, in order to have the clearance. And, if you mess up, the nollie nose stall hurts a lot more to bail on ...

Pop Shuvit Nose Stall - Just like a nose stall, but instead of ollying into it, you pop shuvit into it! This looks VERY cool if you can pull it off right, but you need to have a pretty high pop for your shuvit. It can also take practice to learn to slap your front foot down on the nose right when the nose is over the ledge... Of course, before doing this tweak you need to learn how to pop shuvit.

Nose Stall to Such-And-Such Out - You can also do tricks like kickflips and the like to get out of the stall. This adds a very cool level of action to the trick, and looks pretty sweet. Get creative.

And thats the challenge with learning the nose stall, or any other trick - get creative! Once you have it down, start messing with it and make it yours. Have fun!
