Guide Review - Nuclear Pickle Review
But thankfully, looks were deceiving. The Nuclear Pickle longboard was fun to ride, with deep springy carving. The adjustable trucks were nice to have as well - you can have them set for riding around town, but then tighten them up for large hills. Although, I wouldn't recommend hitting very extreme hills - the Nuclear Pickle longboard is designed mostly for flowing and carving.
The Nuclear Pickle longboard's reversed trucks and the strange deck design keeps the rider's feet closer to the ground, while still giving enough room to use your weight on turns. The board is springy and comfortable, but not the strongest. For most skaters it should work just fine, but if you consider yourself heavy, you might want to be more careful when flinging your weight into turns.
The Nuclear Pickle is an interesting creation that has some unique ideas and will give a comfortable ride. It looks a little odd, but for what it's designed for, it works well.
