Construction
Not all skate decks are equal - when you're shopping for a new board, you want to make sure you get 7 plys of quality maple fused and finished in the Americas. Some companies are making skate decks out of China, and these have potential but are not quite up to par just yet. Chocolate skateboards are 100% quality, 7 plys of Canadian maple, made in the USA with pride. They're everything you'd expect from a top-notch skateboarding company.Fee "Se Habla Canuk" DVD

Design
Chocolate's current deck lineup has some pretty sick graphics. All are simple and bold - few colors contrasting in a picture that stands out.The Chunk pro skate deck series all have the word "Chocolate" scrawled across the bottom, similar to the clips in the Hot Chocolate video where the decks have the names of the cities they are skating in across the bottom. Interestingly, none of them are white with red writing, like in the video... but they still look great! There's one for each pro, of course:
- Mike York - light brown / gray with light green text
- Scott Johnston - neon pink with yellow text
- Chico Brenes - black with white text
- Richard Mulder - purple with green text
- Gino Iannucci - brown with pink text
- Kenny Anderson - pink with white text [li[Marc Johnson - white with light blue text
In Summary
Chocolate Skateboards is a great company with a tight skate team that's been through a lot, but keeps hitting it hard. If you haven't seen the Hot Chocolate tour video, you should - these are the kind of guys that keep skating real.So check out Chocolate boards, ride with style, and know you're buying quality.
