What is the S3 Supergirl Jam:
The S3 Supergirl Jam is a huge all-girls action sports competition and lifestyle/music festival. The S3 Supergirl Jam is designed to promote and celebrate female strength, independence and empowerment. The free event is hosted in July, located on the beach, just south of the Huntington Beach Pier, in Huntington Beach, Calif. The S3 Supergirl Jam features top female athletes in surf, skate and snow, as well as female bands and other activities. Basically, it's a time for girls to get out, show what they can do, enjoy their power and have fun.

- Snowboard rail jam (on snow on the beach in July!)
S3 Supergirl Jam Weekend:
In 2008, the S3 Supergirl Jam will be held from July 25th to 27th, and they expect over 100 thousand fans (male and female are both welcome!) to come out to watch. Along with the contests, there will be an interactive village of "female inspired activities", free clinics for girls and women to learn or practice skateboarding, and a musical line-up of female bands (live concerts cap off each day's events).
