Guide Review - Toy Machine Pro Rider Skateboard Wheels Review
These new pro rider wheels are pretty good. The Josh Harmony wheels are 53mm, with mirrored sunglasses graphics, and Harmony's name. These wheels are white, and treaded. No hardness is listed, but I'd use them for either street or general multi-purpose riding.
The Austin Stephens wheels are 52mm, with Stephen's name and colored rings. These also don't have a hardness listed, and are treaded for street.
The formula that these wheels are made from is good - they give a good amount of response. The wheels seem well made, though one of the Austin Stephens wheels was a little narrower than the others. Just enough to notice. It didn't make a difference in riding - little inconsistencies like this are normal in your every-day skateboard wheels.
In all, I would say that the new Toy Machine pro team rider wheels are a great idea. They aren't anything remarkable, but those "remarkable" wheels can end up being remarkably lame. These Toy Machine wheels are solid, strong, and well made. And if you like the Toy Machine pro skater team, these wheels should be perfect for you.
