Angelboy Complete Skateboards Review

Angelboy complete skateboards are well built price point skateboards that come ready to ride. Angelboy complete skateboards are also much cheaper than pro-grade complete skateboards - this is due to Angelboy parts and manufacture being produced overseas. This does mean a drop in quality, however for young, beginner or intermediate skateboarders, I think Angelboy skateboards are a perfect choice.

Most young or beginner skateboarders really don't need pro-grade skateboards. So, buying your 8 year old who just started out skateboarding a brand new high grade complete skateboard can be overkill. The trick is in finding a cheaper skateboard that isn't garbage. And that's where Angelboy complete skateboards come in.

A "complete" skateboard is one that comes with all the parts necessary - deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, hardware, and grip tape. And I'm not a kid - meaning that if Angelboy skateboards work for me, they should be able to handle whatever your kid or beginner skateboarder can dish out.

All that to say, if you are a fairly good skateboarder, you really should get a higher grade skateboard. However, an Angelboy will work, and you can always slowly upgrade the parts over time.

When buying a skateboard, especially for a younger skateboarder, the graphic on the bottom of the deck is extremely important. And this is where I think Angelboy skateboards shine. Angelboy skateboard decks all feature the classic Angelboy character who's been around for quite some time. Angelboy decks used to be sold by themselves, before Angelboy was re-defined into a complete skateboard brand. Throughout this time, Angelboy decks have had great graphics.

Most of the pictures feature a cartoon boy, a little on the punk side, with angel wings and a halo, pulling off skateboard tricks or doing something wild. All the graphics have a rowdy edge to them, but none of them are in the least bit "bad". Most parents should be happy to see their kid on an Angelboy complete skateboard, as opposed to a great deal of what's available for skateboard graphics.

The bottom line is that Angelboy complete skateboards are perfect for younger, or beginner to intermediate skateboarders. The decrease in quality is little compared to the decrease in price, making Angelboy complete skateboards a great price-point option for any younger skater.
