Frontside

By , About.com Guide

Definition: Frontside refers to rotations or turns done so that the skateboarder's front is facing the outside of the turn arc. The name Frontside came originally from surfing, as did a lot of skateboarding's original language.

The opposite of frontside would be backside.

Frontside is usually put before the name of another trick, such as "Frontside 360".

Alternate Spellings: F/S, or FS
Examples:
"Billy ollied up onto the platform, and then frontside 360 3 flipped off the end."
