Girl OG Re-Issue Decks
Girl skateboards has a special deck series this year, thier "10 year og re-issue series", with each rider taking thier own color scheme on the old graphic. The image is a stark and bold, with a 10 year re-issue logo slapped on the nose.
Powell Classic Street Issue Skateboard Deck Review
Powell Classic has been reproducing some of their greatest old-school skateboard deck designs. For this review, I got to try out the Street Issue deck, and I have to say, not only does it look sweet, but it's a fun little deck to ride as well! Read this review of the Powell Classic Street Issue Skateboard Deck.
Powell Mag Letters Skateboard Deck Review
Powell skateboard decks are high quality, American made boards. For this review, I tried out the Powell Skateboards Mag Letters skateboard deck - it features the Skate One K-12 "Hella Concave", basically average specs, and the Powell warranty. The graphics are the name Powell spelled out from different letters ripped from skateboarding magazine titles. Check out the Powell Mag Letters Skateboard Deck Review.
Toy Machine Skateboards Decks Review
Toy Machine Skateboards Decks Review - Toy Machine skateboard decks are strong and solid, with a great amount of response and pop. I personally tried out the Johnny Layton pro deck, and thought it was a great board. Read this review of Toy Machine Skateboard decks for more info.
Foundation Skateboard Decks Review - Mike Rusczyk Amateur Retirement Model
Foundation Skateboard Decks Review - Mike Rusczyk Amateur Retirement Model - Mike Rusczyk is the newest pro on the Foundation Skateboards team, and to celebrate Foundation has produced his Amateur Retirement Model skateboard deck. Not only that, but the deck comes with a free skateboarding DVD!
Mystery Skateboard Decks Review
Mystery Skateboard Decks Review - Mystery is a relatively new skateboard company that makes decks, wheels and all kinds of other gear, all with their classic white and black design, and the Mystery heart with a lightning bolt logo. Buying skateboard decks from a newer company can be dangerous, but Mystery skateboard decks are strong, flexible and look good. Plus, the Mystery skateboarding pro team is pretty awesome as well! Read more about Mystery skateboard decks in this review.
Zero Decks Review (general decks)
Zero skateboard decks have been a top brand long enough, you know you can trust them. But Zero isn't just skating along, relying on the company's history - Zero skateboard decks are seriously well built, tough and responsive, with strong graphics and extras like the super slick bottom surface that's perfect for slides. There aren't many companies you can say this about - you really can't go wrong with a Zero skateboard deck. REad more about Zero Skateboard decks in this review.
Foundation Skateboard Decks Review - Gareth Stehr Signature Series Fall 2005
Foundation skateboard decks are strong, cool, and made in the USA. Gareth Stehr is Foundation's newest team riders, and with his deck designs he fits right in. In this review for Foundation skateboard decks, we'll be taking a look in particular at three of Gareth Stehr's signature pro decks.
Bacon Skateboards Review
It's always good to find a new skateboarding company - the fact that there are so many is one of the great things about skateboarding. You can be totally individual. Bacon Skateboards is a newer company (been around 5 years, but it takes a while to get your name out there) with a strong style and gear.
Powell Classic K-10 Skateboard Decks Review
Powell has done a great job in bringing old school designs and boards back to enjoy. These older shapes were made for more carving, bowl riding, and skating around parks. Newer trick boards are perfect for the popular skateboarding of today, but you just can't get the same ride. Plus, if you are a larger guy who just wants to skate, some of the current skateboards out there made for kids just won't cut it. Whatever the case, these Classic Powell K-10's should make anyone happy. Read more.
RoadKill Skates Wolf Pac Value Kit Review
The Wolf Pack Value Kit from RoadKill Skates is one of the best skateboarding deals online. The kit features the RoadKill Skates Wolf Pack skateboard deck (well built and sick graphics), RoadKill Skates T-shirt and stickers. The whole skateboarding kit costs less than you would usually pay for a deck alone - not only a great value, but unique, cool, and independent. RoadKill Skates is a Philadelphia skateboarding company with a strong online presence. Read this skateboarding deck review.
Mini-Logo Superlight Skateboard Deck Review
Mini-Logo decks provide top level features at a great price, due to their lack of graphics. Mini-Logo Superlights are 10% thinner than regular Mini-Logo skate decks, but are built with a K-12 “Hella Concave” – a super deep concave that gives the board added strength. This balances out to a lighter skateboard, without sacrificing too much strength, all at a good price.
Powell Classic Spoon Nosed Deck Series Review
Old school skateboards and graphics have made a huge comeback in the skating world lately – and if you’re looking for truly classic, you’re looking for Powell. Powell skateboards have been some of the finest in the industry since the beginning – and now you can get some of those memorable fish tailed / spoon shaped designs again, complete with the old graphics! But these decks are more than just ornamental – they’ve been made for serious skating – read the review for more info.
Mini-Logo Skateboard Deck Review
Mini-Logo skate decks are high quality skateboards available at cheap prices. Different from the usual “blank” skate decks, Mini-Logo decks are actually built from the same 7 ply rock hard maple with the same high quality treatments as the rest of Skate One’s decks, but they are cheaper because they lack graphics. They come in one solid color with a small Mini Logo trademark. Check out this review for more.
LIB Tech OG Deck Review
Lib Technologies makes a great skate deck, using fiberglass to reinforce the top and bottom. Read a full review of Lib Tech decks.
Angel Boy Decks
Angelboy skate decks are high quality decks, made to skate on. The boards have an extreme amount of concave - an increasingly popular shape to buy. The graphics are a good blend of tough and toon, making them popular across a wide range of skaters. Angelboy also comes in a large variety of shapes and sizes, making their decks attractive to both young skaters, and more advanced riders.
Powell Pro Decks
Powell's Pro Graphic series features Tough-Ply boards with K-i11 concave, each with a Powell pro rider's name along with a sweet dragon head graphic. These boards are tough and thick, and the graphics are some of the best. Powell makes thier own decks, and they know what they're doing.
Chocolate Nature Series Decks
Chocolate skateboards has a new series of pro decks called the Nature Series. These are quality Chocolate decks, each with a different plant scene graphic across the bottom with a pro rider's name made with sticks.
Powell Peralta Alan Gelfand Tank Deck Review
After nearly two decades, Powell and Peralta are together again, re-issuing some of their best classic skateboarding gear, from decks to soft goods to videos. This Alan Gelfand deck says it all, and is perfect for decorating and riding. The board is constructed with current Skate-One technology and manufacturing (100% American Maple, and made in the USA), meaning that it is a high quality board, if you choose to ride it. Check out this Powell Peralta Alan Gelfand Tank Deck Review.
