DC Avenger DX Model Anthony Van Engelen Signature Model Skate Shoes Review

The DCShoeCoUSA Avenger DX is an Anthony Van Engelen (AVE) pro signature model skateboarding shoe. AVE says he wanted to make something original, and he sure did - most of the features of the shoe are what you'd expect in a DC pro model skateboarding shoe, with a couple of innovations. The main thing he did to these Avenger DXs was blast them with a wild sense of style. As you can see from the photo, the shoes are white, with black tiger stripes - these shoes are bold, and skatable.

They're like hot dance club shoes that you can skateboard in. If you are looking for something bold, the new DC Avenger DX is your skate shoe. Anthony Van Engelen has always done things his own way and had a bit of a wild temper, and the DC Avenger DX displays AVE's style perfectly.

But the DCShoeCoUSA Avenger DX isn't just for show - it's very skatable. These shoes feature the unique DC DGT sole, which means that the Avenger DX's sole is made with rubber of two different hardnesses - softer in the front for more control, and harder in the back for more durrability. Although, with the Avenger DX, there are only two different hardnesses, and they are very similar.

DC Avenger DXs also have a subtle rubber strip that runs up each side of your foot, right near where your toes start. This strip is great - it helps hold the board for flip tricks, and helps protect the shoe from grip tape wear.

the only real bummer about these shoes is that if you don't like white shoes with tiger stripes, you're out of luck. But that's the DX version - if you want other colors, the regular DC Avenger comes in more subdued colors, along with bright turquoise and pink! I personaly got frustrated with how the Avenger DXs attracked dirt and mud, but I'm also a whiner and wanted to wear them later going out.
