The NSS N-Paisley skate shoes are cheap, fasionable and functional skateboarding shoes.
Nice Skate Shoes (NSS) make all kinds of mid range skateboarding shoes, great for skaters on a budget. The NSS Men's N-Paisley skate shoes are a great example. They aren't poorly designed or constructed at all - in fact, these NSS N-Paisley shoes are double and triple stitched together, with sturdy suede and action leather panels. The lace eyelets are metal rimmed, and the sole is a grippy herring-bone pattern gum.
However, the toe cap is thin, and so are the side panels. In testing, I found the toe cap to be a little too thin, and I think the side panels will wear through or blow out. However, if you don't skate too hard, these NSS N-Paisley skate shoes might be perfect for you. They are light and grippy, and they give a good amount of board feel. For me, the soles were a little less padded than I like, but that's purely a matter of opinion. Thinner soles help you feel the board more, while thicker soles do a better job of padding your feet.

NSS N-Paisley ReviewsThe NSS N-Paisley's biggest advantage is in style - the side panels are designed by skater and artist Ray Gauthier, and feature a cacophony of skulls, paisley and other designs. Combined with the black and white of the shoe, it looks great.
