Old Kook's Snakes Skateboard Shoe Laces Review
Old Kook's makes super strong shoe laces, designed especially for skateboarding. I tried out the Snakes shoe laces, made specifically for skateboarding, and I was impressed. Shoe laces are the first thing to go on most skate shoes - and they usually break VERY fast. Old Kook's laces might not be cheap, $10 a pair for the Snakes, but I think they are completely worth it.

NSS N-Paisley Skateboarding Shoes
NSS N-Paisley Nice Skateboarding Shoes - The NSS N-Paisley skate shoes - cheap, fasionable and functional. Nice Skate Shoes (NSS) make all kinds of mid range skateboarding shoes, great for skaters on a budget. The NSS Men's N-Paisley skate shoes are a great example. They aren't poorly designed or constructed at all - in fact, these NSS N-Paisley shoes are double and triple stitched together, with sturdy suede and action leather panels. Read more about NSS N-Paisley skateboarding shoes.

NSS Thrilla Skateboarding Shoes
NSS Thrilla Skateboarding Shoes Review - The NSS "Thrilla" model skateboarding shoe is light and comfortable, and Nice Skate Shoes (NSS) has a solid respectable skateboarding team to back up and prove their designs. The NSS Thrilla skate shoe also come in some good looking colors and styles. All in all, I found the NSS Thrilla skate shoe to be a nice choice.

Globe Fusion Skateboarding Shoe Review
Globe Fusion Skateboarding Shoe Review - Globe Fusions are packed with tons of tech - with extra reinforcements, stitching, padding, grip - they do everything. Plus, they are freaky comfortable, and breathe well. It's tough to find a team shoe that performs this well, and I think Globe did a great job in making the Globe Fusion. If you are looking for a pair of bulky, heavy duty technical trick ready skate shoes, read more about Globe Fusions.

Vans No Skool 2 Skateboarding Shoes Review - Dustin Dollin Pro Signature Model
Vans No Skool 2 Skateboarding Shoes Review - Dustin Dollin Pro Signature Model - Vans No Skools have gone through a zillion incarnations. But the latest and greatest are the Vans No Skool 2s. Just like the original No Skools, No Skool 2s are Dustin Dollin's pro signature shoes, and are great shoes. Reinforced heel and toe caps, double stitching, strong side panels, the works - plus a pretty sweet degree of style - make Vans No Skool 2s great skate shoes.

Vans J-Lay Skate Shoe Review - Johnny Layton Signature Pro Skateboarding Shoe
Vans J-Lay Skate Shoe Review - Johnny Layton Signature Pro Skateboarding Shoe - The Vans J-Lay is pro skater Johnny Layton's first pro signature model skate shoe. For the most part, Johnny Layton simply took the classic Vans vulcanized skate shoe and changed its looks. But they do look great, and are based on a design that's been proven to work. Plus, these are some of the lightest skate shoes you'll find.

Vans AV Sk8-Low Shoe Review - Anthony Van Engelen Pro Model
Vans AV Sk8-Low Skateboarding Shoe Review. The AV Sk8-Low is the second pro signature model by Anthony Van Engelen. It uses a pretty solid and traditional design as its base (the Sk8-hi), and then AVE adjusted the shoe from there. The result is a strong traditional style Vans skateboarding shoe, but with a very low cut and Anthony Van Engelen's bold styling. This type of shoe isn't for everyone - take a look, and if you like what you see, you can rest assured that the design is strong.

Fallen Ripper Skateboarding Shoes Review
Fallen Rippers are simple, well made tough little skate shoes. They seem a little too simple at first glance, but that's part of what's great about them - you get everything you need, without any glam-rock extras. The upper is tough and well stitched, with extra reinforcements around the edges, and the added toe-cap layer. The upper laces have extra reinforcement as well. Read more about Fall Footwear's Chris Cole's Ripper skateboarding shoe in this review.

Fallen Reliant Skateboarding Shoe Review
Fallen Reliant skateboarding shoes are traditional puffy-style skate shoes. They aren't as big as, say, Osiris D3s were, but they still have the big thick tongue, the thickly padded heel collar, and the wider feel. Fallen Reliants are also well built, with rubber reinforced toes and reinforcement around the tongue's edging. Fallen Reliant skate shoes don't really do anything new, but what they DO do, they do well! Check out this Fallen Footwear Reliant skate shoes review for more.

Fallen Troopers Skateboarding Shoes Review - Chris Cole Signature Model
Chris Cole's Fallen Trooper skateboarding shoes are pretty great shoes. They feel comfortable, with plenty of room, are as strong as you can want with extra layers and stitching, and have Chris Cole's name under the tongue. And, like icing on a cake, they look cooler than any skate shoes I've tested yet. Check out this review of Fallen Trooper skateboarding shoes for more!

Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Skateboarding Shoe Review
Nike 6.0 Air Mogans are the coolest looking shoes in the Nike 6.0 "nerd" lineup - seriously, these shoes look cool! You can get them in some striking sporty color combos, and corduroy. But looks aren't everything - and Nike 6.0 Air Mogans are good for skateboarding as well. They're double stitched and lighter weight, so they won't last as long as some of the other heavy duty skateboarding shoes on the market, but they do reach a good balance between skatability and style.

Mavrk - Nike 6.0 Nerd Style Mavrk Skateboarding Shoe Review
Mavrk - Nike 6.0 Mavrk Skateboarding Shoe Review. The Nike 6.0 Mavrk is all style - an old school skateboarding sole, combined with leather or plaid canvas upper and a low profile combine into this shoe. Read more in this Nike 6.0 Nerd Mavrk Skateboarding Shoe review.

Fallen Revolver Billy Marks Signature Model Skateboarding Shoe Review
The Fallen Revolver skateboarding shoe - It doesn't push the envelope in any area, or do anything really new, but it's a great skateboarding shoe. The style is simple and comfortable, but still strong, the shoe is tough in all the right places, and still comfortable and padded. Plus, the Fallen Revolver does have Billy Marks' name on it, which is pretty cool! Read this review for more details, and the actual specs of the Fallen Revolver skateboarding shoes.

Nike 6.0 Oncore - Nike Oncore 6.0 skateboarding shoe review
Nike 6.0 Oncores are skateboarding shoes with a little extra. The new Nike Oncores are great shoes for skateboarding, with extra reinforcement, action leather and suede uppers, and great grippy soles. Nike 6.0 Oncores have padding where you want it, breathe, and are fully skatable. The style is a little unique, but not ugly (something that Nike Skateboarding shoes get bashed for a lot). Nike 6.0 Oncores are worn by Nike bmx team rider Garret Reynolds.

Vans No Skool Dustin Dollin Pro Model Skateboarding Shoes
The Vans No Skool is an upgrade to the Vans Old Skool skateboarding shoe. The No Skool is Dustin Dollin’s third pro model skateboarding shoe – something of an upgrade to the Vans Old School skate shoes. The suede and leather upper look sick and add strength, while the added padding in the tongue and heel collar add comfort. Most striking of all in the Vans No Skool is the style – the ultra punk skull screen printing on the canvas side panels and tongue!

DC KJ6 - Josh Kalis Signature Skateboarding Shoe Review
DC KJ6 - Josh Kalis Signature Skateboarding Shoe Review - DC KJ6 - Josh Kalis Signature Skateboarding Shoe Review. The new DC KJ6 skateboarding shoes for spring of 2006 are some of the coolest looking skate shoes I've had the pleasure to review. The style is bold and strong, the shoes are designed to take a beating, they're comfortable and even feature extra lace protection. Seriously, these are some good skateboarding shoes.

Osiris Chino Jerry Hsu Pro Model Skateboarding Shoes Review
Osiris Chino Jerry Hsu Pro Model Skateboarding Shoes Review - Osiris skateboarding shoes have taken some huge leaps in quality, as can be seen in the Osiris Chino skate shoes. These shoes are built tough, light, stylish and with a great board feel. Osiris Chino skateboarding shoes are the Jerry Hsu pro models, and in my opinion by far his best pro model skateboarding shoes yet. Read more about Osiris Chino skateboarding shoes in this review.

Nike Team Edition Skateboarding Shoes Review
Nike SB Team Edition skateboarding shoes are the best Nike skateboarding shoes so far - even better than the famous Nike Dunks. Nike Team Editions are perfect for skateboarding, with traditional style skateboarding shoe soles and suede / action leather uppers. Nike SB Team Edition skateboarding shoes also feature Ollie / kickflip protection panels plus lower lace shields, if you want to use them. Plus, Nike Team Edition shoes have a cool, strong style all their own.

DC Rovers Snow Boot - Water Resistant Skateboarding Shoes Series
DC Rovers Snow Boots (Water Resistant Skateboarding Shoes Series) are tough and warm. Strong metal lace eyelets (you don't want anything less for boots), high top design for warmth, and some incredible traction make these DC Rovers perfect. Plus, it doesn't hurt that they happen to look sweet as well. If you're shopping for snow boots, I haven't seen anything better than DC Rovers. Read this review of DC Snow boots 'Rover' to find out more.

Fallen Strike Skateboarding Shoe Review
The Fallen Strike is one tough skateboarding shoe. The entire upper is made from thick heavy duty suede, the lave eyelets are all metal, the toe cap is triple stiched with a hidden rubber layer for extra toughness, all the edges are double stitched - the Fallen Strike is a ripped skateboarding shoe that's looking for a fight. The Fallen Strike is also availalbe in a couple of color styles that add to it's punk look, if you need even tougher skateboarding shoes.

Fallen Contra Skateboarding Shoes Review
Fallen Contras are extremley well built, high quality skateboarding shoes. Fallen Contras sacrifice a few extra features designed specificaly for skateboarding (like lace protection or width) for some added running or tennis shoe features. This makes the Contra the perfect choice for someone who wants to skate plus play other sports or do other things with these same shoes. Fallen Contras also have an extra puffy tongue, so they still look and feel like skate shoes. A good hybrid shoe.

Fallen Reliant Skateboarding Shoe Review
The Fallen Reliant skateobarding shoe is tough, comfortable, well built, and has a slick, subtle style. Available in solid black, white or grey with the Fallen sybmols and name stitched on in another shade, these shoes look and feel like high class, high quality skateboarding shoes. While you can skate hard in them, they aren't designed as much for the newer, younger skater; unless that skater knows his stuff, a lot of the Fallen Reliant's subtleties will be lost on him.

Fallen Ace Skateboarding Shoe Review
Fallen Aces are a new Jamie Thomas pro signature skateboarding shoe in the Fallen lineup. Jamie Thomas has packed these shoes with features, and built them to an extreme high grade. The toe cap is reinforced to a powerful degree, there's an added vent to the side for cool comfort. Fallen Aces come in several solid colors as well, adding to the stark, strong image of these skateboarding shoes. REad more about the Fallen Ace Jamie Thomas pro signature skateboarding shoes in this review.

Fallen Relapse – Collective Model Skate Shoe Review
Fallen Relapses have everything I want in a skateboarding shoe. Seriously. Everything. Puffy tongue with straps, padded heel collar, finger loop for pulling your shoes on, protected lace eyelets, monster thick laces, sticky gum soles ... on and on, Fallen Relapses have everything, PLUS a little extra! Fallen Relapse skateboarding shoes have hidden rubber strips up the sides for tricks, adding grip and protection. And, like the icing on a cake (literally), Fallen Relapses look GREAT!

DC Griffin - Colin McKay Signature Skate Shoe Review
DC Griffins are well worth their price. First off, they feature DC's new Super Suede, the new suede material designed by DCShoeCoUSA that's making a ruckus in the skate shoe world. But besides being made of better material than most skate shoes on the market, the Griffins have close to the perfect list of features - Velcro strip, lace protection, double layered triple stitched toe cap, Heel support, padded tongue with stabilizer straps - read this review of the DC Griffins for more info.

DC Avenger DX Model Anthony Van Engelen Signature Model Skateboarding Shoes Review
The DCShoeCoUSA Avenger DX is an Anthony Van Engelen (AVE) pro signature model skateboarding shoe. AVE says he wanted to make something original, and he sure did - most of the features of the shoe are what you'd expect in a DC pro model skateboarding shoe, with a couple of innovations. The main thing he did to these Avenger DXs was blast them with a wild sense of style. As you can see from the photo, the shoes are white, with black tiger stripes. Read the review of the DC Avenger DX.

Nike P-Rod Paul Rodriguez Signature Skate Shoe Review
The new Nike Zoom Air P-Rods are well built, strong, comfortable skate shoes. Nike P-Rods also have a strong runner profile, and a very subtle look compared to many of the other skateboarding shoes that Nike has put out! A lot of this style and quality comes from these being the Paul Rodriguez signature model Nike skate shoes, and P-Rod definitely knows what he's doing. Read this review of the Paul Rodriguez Nike Zoom Air P-Rod to find out more.

GlobeVice
The Globe Vice is a great skate shoe. No super fancy new innovations, but well built and simply comfortable. The Globe Vice skate shoe is light, and the upper is rather thin at points, but the most common wear points are very strongly reinforced, with double and even triple layers of suede or leather. In all, the Globe Vice is a good, solid, what-you-want skateboarding shoe. Read this review of Globe Vice skateboarding shoes for more information!

DC Rebound Skate Shoes Review
The DC Rebound is a solid, strongly stitched high top skateboarding shoe. The DC Rebound has a nice long list of special features, not the least of which is the special DC DGT rubber sole. Plus, the fact that the DC Rebound is a high-top shoe adds to the shoe's versatility. You can wear the DC Rebound out skating, onto the basketball court, or playing anything else at the gym. For some people, the high top design may make the DC Rebound a little too inflexible. Read this DC Rebound review.

Globe Vegas Skate Shoes Review
The Globe Vegas is an awesome skate shoe. With triple stitched double layered toes, a thick perforated tongue and lightweight midsole and outsole, Globe Vegases have everything you'll want for skating. PLUS, they are comfortable with strong arch support, plenty of cushioning and breath-ability in the toes. The only real drawbacks are the lack of any amazing new hyped up gimmick - which means you can rest easy knowing that all of the Globe Vegases features are tested and ... read this review.

Globe Castro Skateboarding Slipper Review
Globe Castros are like good slippers that just happen to be skatable. They are soft and comfortable, warm, and slip on and off easily. Flip them over, and you can see they have a tough, grippy sole that means you can skateboard with your Globe Castros on. I didn't skate very well mind you, but the fact that I could was pretty cool. If you are looking for a pure slipper, try one that's not made my a skate company. But if you are looking for image and style, Globe Castro ... read this review

Vans Rowley XL2 Skate Shoes Review
Vans Rowley XL2s are made of strong action leather and suede, double stitched toe cap, puffy tongue and great heel padding, and a grippy sole - basically, it has everything you want in a skate shoe, and it's light. Lighter than it seems possible to be. I don't get it, but somehow Vans has managed to re-work one of the most popular skate shoes of all time, make it all around a little better, and yet reduce its weight. I don't understand it, but I like it! Read this review for more info.

Nike Dunk SB Shoe Review
Nike Dunk SBs are Nike's biggest skate shoe. Massively popular around the world, Nike Dunk SBs are comfortable and perfect for skateboarding. Nike Dunk SBs come in over 65 different color variations and styles. No other skateboarding shoe has so much variety. While the style of Nike Dunk SBs has received a lot of negative publicity due to some pretty ugly color schemes, with this much variety most skaters should be able to find the style of Nike Dunk SB that fits them. Read this review.

Etnies The Tip
Etnies "The Tips" are cool new rough and ready skate shoes designed by Rune Glifberg. Lightweight EVA footbead increases board feel, while the perforated leather upper helps your foot breathe. The Etnies “E” looks spreaypainted on the side for a hit-the-streets look. The shoe is lightly padded but double and tripple stitched to last as long as the action leather or suede the shoe is made from.

Etnies Evader
Etnies Evaders are a revisit to the classic skate shoe style. Perforated suede uppers are comfortable and breathable, while the toe and heel caps are triple stitched for added strength. The whole shoe has a more thinned out look and design which not only lightens the shoe, but adds to it’s smooth classic style and actualy improved board feel. Read he review for find out more.

DC Atlas - Rob Dyrdek signature skate shoe
The Atlas is Rob Dyrdek's next pro model after the Ten. The Atlas fuses elements of a running shoe and skate shoe. It's light and agile, but with the heavy tread and padded areas for skating. The Atlas has a cupsole, and the tread features DGT technology. What's that mean? Read the review for more.

Es McCrank 3 Skate Shoes
McCrank 3 is Es footwear's spring 2004 pro model for Es team rider Rick McCrank. The shoe goes for a bit of an old school feel with a low profile, classy looks and all leather upper. Check out the review for more.

DC H2Zero Method Skate Shoes
The DC H2Zero Method provides everything you need for all weather, all terrain footwear. The H2Zero treatment makes the shoe highly water resistant, while the beefy tread gives grip in mud, snow, slush, dirt - anything. However, for all of this, the H2Zero Method does give up most of it's skatability - even more so than the other H2Zero shoes. Read the review to find out more.

Emercia Reynolds 2
The Emerica Reynolds 2 is a solid, tried and true skate shoe. Designed by Andrew Reynolds, these shoes have all you need. Fallen Rival Skate Shoes
The Rival is one of the new skate shoes in Jamie Thomas's Fallen shoe line. This is an excellent, high quality skate shoe - by far one of the best I've ever seen. Packed with features and made from quality materials, the Rival has a seat as by far one of the best skate shoes on the market - and you can only buy them at specialty skate shops. Read the review for more!

Fallen Heritage Skate Shoes
The Fallen Heritage is a slick, stylish skateboarding shoe from the Jamie Thomas signature series. The shoe has a quiet look, and is packed with extra features - everything you'd hope for, but with even more. The Fallen team used years of skate shoe evolution to develop the Heritage - read the review to find out more.

Globe Trans Element Flare Skate Shoes
These are a strange mix between a skate shoe and a running shoe that might work well for longboarding. They have a long narrow sole, tough lace loops that protect the laces, and earthy color schemes. However, skating will burn these shoes up quickly. Not just heavy skating, but even light skating - ollies will shred the soft suede, and the grip on the sole doesn't hold grip tape well.

Vans Dr. T Skate Shoes
Tony Trujillo has a loud, strong, fast skating style, as can be seen in the style of his signature shoes. Like the Vans TNTs, Dr. Ts have a rock star attitude, but they go even further in their style and features. Dr. Ts come in loud two tone styles, and are available in low and high top. Check out the review for more detailed info.

Vans TNT Skate Shoes
These skate shoes re-invent a classic Vans look with new materials and style. Vans TNTs are light, comfortable, and skateable. They aren't the most high tech skate shoes on the market, but that's not their purpose - they provide small advances to an already established, proven skateboarding shoe. If you like the look and feel of Vans, you're going to love the new TNTs.

DC Virtua Skate Shoes
DC Shoe Co's Virtua model skateboarding shoe offers a wide range of features along with slick stark style. Packed with extra features, these shoes are a good buy - as long as you've got the right feet.

Vans Estilo Skate Shoes
The Van's Estilo is John Cardiel's pro signature shoe. The word "estilo" means "style", which these shoes have in a strong, subtle, skatable form. Cardiel wanted a shoe that could withstand all around action skating, and put a lot of work into making this skateboarding shoe come off with a simple style, and yet be packed to withstand the rigors of hitting the pavement, ramps, or anything else.

Fallen Scout Skate Shoes
The Fallen Scout Features synthetic suede, nubuck or leather, the Scout is comfortable and strong. It's also very skatable, with reinforced ollie areas and sticky gum sole for grip. Not the most advanced of the Fallen Jamie Thomas Signature Model series, the Scout is a shoe that you're either going to love for it's uniqueness, or pass up in favor of the Heritage or the Rival.

Globe CT IV Skate Shoes
Globe makes some of the best skate shoes on the market -- the Chet Thomas IVs. You may pay more for these shoes, but try them out, and you want want anything else. One of the coolest features is the memory foam inside the shoe that molds to the shape of the wearer's foot - you'll never have to tie these shoes, and they'll be the most comfortable you've ever worn.

Globe Aspect Sandals
Globe Aspects are cool, comfortable sandals. The Aspects have a nice soft contoured sole with a breathable synthetic and textile upper - these sandals look good and feel good. The tread is of mixed rubbers, which gives it greater grip and the pattern is cut to provide stability on flat surfaces and uneven surfaces as well. These sandals are good for street, river, and even light skating.

Osiris PLG Skate Shoes
Osiris PLG skate shoes are the Pierre Luc Gagnon pro model, designed by him. These shoes are light weight, with a thick, solid sole. The upper is all double stitched action leather, with breathable mesh side panels. The shoes are durable and good for skating, but they take some time to break in, and the laces will get shredded after not too many tricks. Read the review for more info.

Osiris HSU II Skate Shoes
Part of the Osiris pro skate shoe line up, Osiris HSU IIs are solid skate shoes designed by pro skater Jerry Hsu. The shoe's design is fairly simple and straight forward. Double stitched leather upper, with a solid rubber sole made with two types of rubber for better grip, the Osris Hsu 2 are good skate shoes.

Osiris Ali Skate Shoes
The Ali is a very unique, quality skate shoe. Designed by pro skater Ali Boulala, The Ali is made of sturdy action leather, double stitched, with a super thick looking rubber sole. The unique part of the shoe comes with it's style - accent leather strips woven into the toes and the sides along with bright stitched accents.

Nike Zoom Air E Cue Skate Shoes
The Nike Zoom Air E-Cue is one of the strangest looking skate shoes around. A spacer mesh web covers most of the top of the shoe, making teh shoe durable and breathable. It looks wierd, but works well. Combine the spacer mesh with the extremely breathable tounge and thinnest sole airbag on the planet, and this shoe should be the most cool and comfortable skateboarding shoe available.

Nike Zoom Air URL Skate Shoes
URLs are comfortable and durable, with a slick look. Their color scheme is a little odd, but thankfully you have several styles to chose from. These shoes are some of the most comfortable out there. Mix that with a sticky, grippy sole and you have a great skate shoe.

Nike Zoom Air Angus Skate Shoes
Nike Zoom Air Angus skate shoe, one of Nike's skateboarding shoe line up, has style, comfort and plenty of bells and whistles. When Nike first entered the skate shoe market, their shoes were well known as being just plain weird. The Zoom Air Angus is a great leap forward on the cool-meter, but also a great high tech shoe with plenty of meat. In fact, some people are even calling it the new Dunk.

DC Decade Skate Shoes
The Decade is Danny Way's tenth signature shoe, and DC Shoe Co's pride and joy. This is a remarkable shoe - it's packed, seriously packed, full of features, and yet the shoe looks clean and simple. It's pure quality, quality you feel instead of see. These shoes are the best.

DC Plaza
The DC Plaza is an excellent skate shoe, but buying a pair provides more than just someting to skate with - it helps provide someplace to skate AT. Every purchase of a pair of DC Plaza skate shoes donates money into the Rob Dyrdek / DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation. The Foundation is raising money to help build skate plazas all across the US. Skate plazas are a new idea in skating - different from a skate park, skate plazas provide true city street terrain rather than bowls. Read for more.

DC Avenue Skate Shoes
DC Shoe Co's Anthony Van Engelen's signature model is called the Avenue. One of DC's hottest shoes, it mixes skate shoe technologies with street shoe style. AVE is one of DC's best skaters in my opinion, and these shoes bring out a lot of his style.

DC Avatar Skate Shoes
DC Shoe Co USAs Avatar skateboarding shoe is a good basic skate shoe, evenly balancing strength, comfort and performance. The DC Avatar is not an overly complicated shoe - it's a good choice for someone who wants a skate shoe that's basic but versatile.

DC Alias H2Zero Skate Shoes
The Alias is the second addition to the H2Zero series - shoes treated to be water / snow resistant and survive the elements. The Alias is a low cut running / skate shoe that's cool enough on it's own, but add in the H2Zero treatment and this is a shoe to own. Check out the review for more.
