Steve Cave: Once you get to that point, what keeps you going?

Bob Burnquist: I just wanted to do it because I built it, and I had all these people, and it’s this big production, I mean you’ve got 35 millimeters, you got cranes, jibs, I mean you got all this stuff and it’s just like, “Ah, you gotta do it!” You know? You get into this zone where everything else is blurred and you just want to do it and you’re just looking at the end of the tunnel. And just looking at that light, way down further and it’s getting closer and closer and closer, you know?

Steve Cave: That’s awesome. That’s a great way of describing it. For the future, where do you see yourself going?

Bob Burnquist: Wow, I’m just so motivated right now man, I’m just really excited about life, about everything that’s going on, and I’m so thankful and blessed in so many different ways, I’m just going to keep on moving, and keep on growing, and skating-wise keep on progressing, keep on pushing the skating limits, keep on learning. I mean I skateboard but I’m into so many things. I mean I just got my pilot’s license. I’m a licensed pilot and a licensed sky diver. I love photography, I film, I’m into farming. I mean anything and everything that’s inspiring, I can’t stop, I mean to me the future holds a lot of things, you know? And There’s so much life and it’s so interesting.
