And run over it we did. This part really impressed me. The board was pressed all the way down to the ground, right in the middle, and then sprung right back to its original shape, no problem! I immediately hopped on and rode it around a little and heres the crazy part it still worked! The board did crack a little internally, right along where the .22 shells had hit it. Im fairly certain that if I had run over it
before shooting it, the Flexdeck wouldnt have cracked at all

Flexdeck Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard, after shooting and running-over
Photo: Steve CaveNow, not having an elephant, I stopped the grueling tests there especially since I really liked the board, and was worried about making it un-usable! Of course, the way it is right now, with a crack in it and all, it doesnt give the best ride but
but it still does work. And thats the amazing part to me Ive never taken another skateboard out and done anything like this to it at all, and expected to have anything left over!
Just take a look at the photo to the side here - that's after shooting it several times with .22 rifles, once with a much larger (and louder!) .243 rifle, running over it with a Dodge Magnum (it seemed appropriate, with all the guns...) - and the thing was still ridable!
Flexdex Ridability - High Speed Carving
Now, crazy bullet proof testing and weird indestructible material aside is the Flexdeck a good skateboard to ride? Thats the whole point, right? Im happy to say that the Flexdex passed this test as well. The Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard skateboard gives a smooth, comfortable ride. The weight was a little awkward for me, in just carrying the board around, but when riding it I didnt have a problem with the weight at all. Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboards come with Randal II 180 trucks, which are a great longboarding truck in my opinion. Flexdex also sport large, 65mm x 78a Urethane Center-Core-cast Flexdex wheels with FKD ABEC 5 bearings. Not a bad setup, for an excellent ride. The size of the board makes it perfect for enjoying hills not the best for getting around town, but still perfectly usable. I wouldnt try it in a skatepark, though mostly because of the size and weight, and the cut of the deck. Theres no raise in the tail the Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard is designed to cut and carve at high speed.

Riding the Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard, after all testing
Photo: Steve CaveIts hard when reviewing a skateboard like this to not get caught up in the theatrics of shooting it and running over it, and to remember to focus on the quality of the Flexdex as a skateboard. But let me say it again the Flexdex Pro 40 was fun to ride.
So the bottom line? While I wouldnt carry the Flexdex off to war or to use it as a riot shield, if you for some reason have to, it can work in a pinch! And if you have to leave a board in the driveway and accidentally run over it, you want that board to be a Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard. But if you want a cruiser skateboard that you can bend and flex in any way you want, without fear of cracking or delamination if you want a skateboard that will withstand the harshest whipeouts and come back asking for more and if you want the sleekest and sexiest cruiserboard Ive ever ridden, then I recommend trying out a Flexdex Pro 40 Longboard Skateboard.
