Guide Review - DC Hiatus II Travel Bag Review
One is the telescoping handle and recessed, thick, strong wheels. With a bag this sized, youre going to be happy for these. Plus, with the wheels recessed as they are, this bag should be ok if checked in for a flight.
Another feature is a removable laptop bag, but this bag is too small for laptops with 15" screens. However, the laptop pouch is still big enough to be useful for other things, and its removable it has extra padding and even has its own separate shoulder strap.
The Hiatus II is also missing a place to stow your board. You can sit your board on top and use the straps to hold your board on, but its not very secure and the laptop bag will need to be taken off.
This bag is packed with pockets. There is a small removable bag on the end thats useful for things like toiletries. The inside compartment is huge, and the end pockets are flexible bags on the inside, so if they arent being used the inside compartment is even bigger.
When it comes to travel duffel bags and suitcases, the Hiatus II is a great choice, and should give you more than you need.
