Tony Hawk's American Wasteland Walkthrough

On to Beverly Hills

Now that you’ve gotten your stuff back, it’s time for your most rigorous challenge yet, one that will grant you your first Skate Ranch piece and gain you access to a whole new neighborhood—Beverly Hills. Meet Mindy down by the Beverly Hills Galleria entrance. She’ll explain the mission set up – you basically have to score three different point value combinations at the top of the Dinosaur to complete the mission. Take the lessons you’ve learned, and execute the tricks you know (and feel free to experiment with new ones) to reach these progressive point totals. Just make sure you don’t fall!

Once you accomplish these goals, a cut scene will play and you’ll have access to Beverly Hills. Try skating there now – as you skate through the mall, American Wasteland will seamlessly transition to the new neighborhood with no load times whatsoever.

When you arrive in Beverly Hills—there’s no rush, so explore more of Hollywood if you’d like—find Mindy and she’ll introduce you to more friends and challenges. The gameplay becomes more challenging here, but you’ll be well on your way to building the ultimate skate park.

In the process you’ll engage in an epic story that will take you all over Los Angeles and have you competing for the amateur title, and eventually taking on pro skaters like Tony Alva, Rodney Mullern, and even Tony Hawk himself!

We encourage you to take your time skating through and exploring the rich environments and numerous hidden gaps, areas and ramps in the game.
