October Skateboard Calendar

This is an invitational event for skaters. This skate park boasts the world's largest cradle, so come watch some pros rock it. The event will be on October 23rd, 2010 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park in Houston Texas. There will be a Men's, Master's and Ladies Pro Bowl contest.

Johnny Romano was a ten year old skater, who recently passed away from cancer.

Presented by Volcom, Cons, and The Skateboard Mag, Damn Am Costa Mesa is held in Costa Mesa, California in October at Volcom's warehouse.

 

The Damn Am is series of 4 contests contests for sponsored Amateur skateboarders. The prize purse is $500, plus any donations. The contest is free to watch for anyone. There’s no security, no VIP, it’s just open and a super chill environment. There’s always free food and drinks at every Damn Am also along with a giant product toss of gear contributed by all the sponsors.

 

 

The Dew Tour travels across the US, and this fifth and final stop of the tour is set for October 14th to 17th, 2010.

The Dew Tour has been running strong now, and has quickly become one of the biggest and best action sports events on the planet. With 5 stops all across the United States, the Dew Tour should hopefully hit a town somewhere near you, if you live in the States. The competitions feature vert and street skateboarding, BMX and Moto X, concerts, and a festival village. It's a good time.
