A four-contest series held in the UK, the second contest of the Independent Vert Series is the Ambush at the Alley held at Adrenaline Alley in Corby on the 29th of March. This event is sponsored by the United Kingdom Skateboarding Association.

Florida Bowl Riders Cup
The FBC features competitive skateboarding in the best skateparks throughout Florida and focuses on competition in concrete flow courses and pools. The competition features Pro, Masters, Open Amateur, Ladies and Groms (kids) events. The series is 3 events long:
- March 6, 2009, Kona, Jacksonville, FL.
- March 7, 2009, New Smyrna Beach, (near Daytona), FL.
- March 8, 2009, Cocoa Beach, FL.
Recession Session

At the Skatepark of Tampa this weekend, the Recession Session etnies Skate Jamis set for March 14, 2009 from noon to 5pm. Mikey Taylor, Jose Rojo, Sean Malto, Tyler Bledsoe will be skating. The first 200 kids skate free courtesy of etnies. Everyone gets free burgers and drinks.

Held from March 19th to 22nd 2009 at the Skatepark of Tampa in Florida. The event features amateur vert, along with pro street and vert competitions. And, of course, there will be parties.
