In the evening came the Concrete Powder Invitational Manual Pad Contest, where Ronnie Creager won $1500. Right after that was "The Legends of Street" contest, where some of the huge names in skateboarding's past and present came out and competed. The photo shows the judges watching Steve Caballero, who won third place. First was taken by Chris Pastras, who earned $1000! All the prize amounts for Slam City Jam were in American dollars this year.

Most of the excitement at Slam City Jam started up on Friday, August 26th. The day was kicked off with the gigantic es Games of SKATE, where the top competitors would get to go on to play in the final game of SKATE at ASR in a few weeks.
