Dew Tour Guide

By Steve Cave, About.com

The Dew Tour has been running strong now, and has quickly become one of the biggest and best action sports events on the planet. With 5 stops all across the United States, the Dew Tour should hopefully hit a town somewhere near you, if you live in the States. The competitions feature vert and street skateboarding, BMX and Moto X, concerts, and a festival village. It's a good time.

What to Expect at the Dew Tour

AST Dew Tour ParkAST Dew Tour Park
The Dew Tour runs over an entire weekend. For skateboarding, there will be two main events - the Park and Vert finals. There will also be BMX and Freestyle Motocross contests, which are exciting to watch. You will be able to watch both the preliminary and final events for everything, if you want.

Some stops will have Free Flow Tour events hosted at the same time. These are true amateur contests, where non-sponsored skaters can win money, prizes and fame. Plus, perhaps the chance to compete in the Dew Tour Finals.

Around all the contests you'll find a "festival village" - all kinds of booths with fun things to do. It's like a small fair.

And each stop also features a concert, with legitimate bands to enjoy!
