Nothing quite like it. The weekend was packed with famous names from skateboarding, BMX, Motocross and more. In this picture, Ryan Sheckler is getting ready for a run at the Skateboarding Park Finals, where he took second at the Vans Invitational leg of the Dew Action Sports Tour. In case you live under a rock, Ryan is popular. Just a little. As in he's everyone's favorite, and the crowd goes nuts when it's time for his run. I was standing in the front in my sectioned off media area (I was the only person there, which felt weird and cool, all at the same time), and asked the teens standing behind me who their favorite was. "Ryan Sheckler is awesome!" yelled one guy immediately. "I like him 'cuz he's my age. It's funny that he's better than all those older guys." Ouch!
