Unfortunately, I don't have more photos of the Vert Finals to share. In the media pit, I was standing next to a lady from NBC with a video camera on her shoulder who repeatedly threatened to get me and the other media standing near me kicked out if we got within 5 feet. I really don't think she liked her job. On the plus side, I was also standing next to Tas Pappas. He had a lot to say about ... well, everything! He's a hilarious guy.
Dew Action Sports Tour Skateboarding Photo Gallery

Saturday night was the Skateboarding Vert Finals for the Vans Invitational stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour. The competition was fierce and inventive. Sandro Dias pulled off yet another 900 (you have to see these in person to appreciate them), and won third. Andy Macdonald was on fire, hitting everything. It was like he his his "boost" button; he skated incredibly, and won second. Bucky Lasek skated smoothly and took first, winning another Dew Tour title.
