This is the first time that the Dew Action Sports Tour will feature inline skating as an event. Five accomplished Inline Vert athletes from throughout the worldincluding Japanese brothers and X Games medalists Eito and Takeshi Yasutokowill compete in a jam-session format. Fabiola da Silva, regarded as the best female in-line skater in the world, Marco di Santi, and Matt Lindenmuth, will also compete. The Inline Vert event will be held at TD Waterhouse Centre on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 5:30 p.m.
The top 20 athletes from the Dew Action Sports Tours Skateboard Vert and BMX Vert points standings are eligible to compete in their respective Best Trick events. Skateboarders Bucky Lasek, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, and Andy Macdonald, currently ranked first, second, and third, respectively, are scheduled to compete in the Skateboard Vert Best Trick competition. Top BMX riders Jamie Bestwick, Kevin Robinson, and Dave Mirra are among those competing in the BMX Vert Best Trick event. The Skateboard Vert Best Trick competition will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. The BMX Vert Best Trick competition will take place on Sunday, Oct. 16 at approximately 5:30 p.m., immediately following the BMX Vert Final.
The PlayStation® Pro will also include a Festival Village with interactive courses, video gaming and athlete autograph sessions. The Festival Villages music stage will feature Hoobastank with special guest The All-American Rejects on Friday, Oct. 14 from 9-11 p.m. Concert admission is included in the daily $12 ticket price for the Dew Action Sports Tours PlayStation® Pro.
