"I'm so excited to have won the first Dew Cup," said Lasek. "I feel like I'm ready to have a heart attack. At first I didn't think of the Dew Tour as a series. Next season I plan to concentrate on consistency."
Pierre-Luc Gagnon, 25, of Montreal, CAN finished first in tonight's skateboard vert contest, but fell short of winning the Tour's season title by 3 points, scoring 369 points to Lasek's 371. Gagnon's switch heelflip frontside 360 was the pinnacle of his winning run.
Said Gagnon of his victory: "I'm pretty hyped that I've had a great year. It has been fun traveling with the Dew Tour all over America. I plan to keep skating the way I have been skating."
Andy Macdonald, 32, Boston, Mass., finishes the inaugural season with third place overall in the Dew Tour standings.
