Dew Action Sports Tour 2006 Preview
The Dew Action Sports Tour kicked off last year, and was a raging success. With over 230,000 people in attendance, a $3.5 million dollar prize purse, and more than 41 million unduplicated television viewers, the 2005 Dew Action Sports tour was something not to be missed. SHECKLER crowned FIRST-ever dew action sports tour champions in SKATEBOARD PARK
Dew Action Sports Tour Finals skateboard park results Playstation Pro - Ryan Sheckler, 15, of San Clemente, Calif. entered today’s Skateboard Park competition having already clinched the Dew Cup. He secured the overall points lead last month at the Toyota Challenge in San Jose, Calif., earning him a $75,000 year-end bonus and a 2006 Toyota Tacoma as well. BUCKY LASEK CROWNED FIRST-EVER DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR CHAMPION IN VERT
Skateboard icon Bucky Lasek tonight secured top honors in the PlayStation® Pro's skateboard vert competition at Orlando's TD Waterhouse Centre. Lasek finished the 2005 Dew Action Sports Tour season as the first recipient of the Dew Cup in Skateboard Vert and earned a $75,000 year-end bonus and a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR FEATURES BEST TRICK COMPETITIONS AT PLAYSTATION PRO
DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR, the first-ever, season-long multi-sport professional tour in action sports, will host three best trick specialty competitions in BMX Vert, Inline Vert, and Skateboard Vert at the Tour’s final stop, the PlayStation® Pro. The fifth and final stop of the Tour takes place Oct. 13-16 at Orlando’s TD Waterhouse Centre, and features professional competitions in skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross. SHECKLER Wins Skateboard Park FINALS - DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR’S TOYOTA CHALLENGE
Dew Action Sports Tour Toyota Challenge skateboarding finals - in Skateboard Park finals, Ryan Sheckler, 15, won today’s competition with a score of 90.92. Sheckler’s final trick in the second jam session was a frontside flip off the bank to flat, making him the only athlete to land that trick.
