The Bottom Line
I was recently sent a pair of new Lock Up sunglasses, from Arnette to review. The add says that Willy Santos wears them, so they must be pretty cool.

- They're huge, and sunglasses. They won't help you skate, but they will make you look more dangerous.

Guide Review - Arnette Lock Up 3045 sunglasses
I wore these sunglasses around for a week or two, to get reactions from people and to see if I liked them. Unfortunately, I never wear anything remotely like these sunglasses - they aren't bad looking, but they are the huge aviator-style sunglasses that are cool for some people to wear. People like Willy Santos. Not people like me. I felt a little creepy, and a little like I was trying to look like my dad.
But, huge sunglasses like this are in style, and if you are looking for a pair, these were comfortable and did their job. The sun was indeed blocked from burning my eyes.
And, you get to look like Willy Santos, if you grow some hair out. Santos' name has been popping up a lot lately it seems. He was also one of the pro skaters featured in the skateboarding collectible card game Skateboarding Must Die! He must have an agent. Smart guy.
So, back to these sunglasses - they work well, are lightweight, didn't break or anything, and even though they aren't my style, my roommate borrowed them immediately. If you too want a pair, pick them up from your local skate shop, or Surfeyes.com.
