Element YMCA Skateboard Camp
YMCA Skate Camp has operated for 25 summers. About 6 years ago Element Skateboards became a title sponsor for the camp and this international company raised the level of awareness of the Central California camp. Element-sponsored professional skateboarders like Levi Brown and Chad Tim Tim visit each week of camp to skate, inspire, and share their industry experiences. While the campers’ first intention is to skate, this YMCA resident camp is programmed to offer much more than skating all day for five days. Campers have opportunities to do many of summer camp activities that living in the wilderness by a lake offers. Swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and wilderness survival skill building are offered.
Windells Skate Camp
Windells is located on Mount Hood in Oregon, close to Portland. Windells offers skate specific programs December through August, plus snowboarding and skiing camps throughout the year. They have holiday, winter, spring, and summer camps for all ages and abilities, including adult-only classes. The classes run about a week long each.
Skatelab Skate Camp
Located in Simi Valley, California (and also in Florida), Skatelab is a skatepark facility that also offers skateboarding classes and skate camps. The Skate School
is geared towards beginner or novice skateboarders, and run during the weekend. The Skate Camps
are 4 days long, and there is one in June, one in July and one in August.
Girls Learn to Ride Skate Camp
GLTR has been running for well over ten years, and assembles skateboarding clinics for girls from May through November, as the overall series includes over 200 action sports clinics and camps in the U.S. and Canada every year in seven different sports. GLTR also offers an instructor certification program for women who want to learn how to become skateboarding instructors.
Woodward West Skate Camp
Camp Woodward has locations in California, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Camp Woodward is all about action sports, with camps focused in skateboarding, BMX, inline, snowboarding and skiing. Woodward is a huge camp, with lessons June through August, vert lessons, and the ability to stay for long periods if you want to.
Eisenbergs Skate Camp
Located in Plano, Texas, Eisenbergs has summer and spring camps, private skateboarding lessons and group lessons available, plus a beginner's package. The camps are for skateboarding and bike, and most are taught by pros.
All Star Adventures Skate Camps
