EA Skate Video Game Review
EA Skate is a fun skateboarding game, but hard to master. Which, in my opinion, adds to the fun! EA Skate goes for a more realistic skateboarding experience, using Next Gen gaming system's advanced controls to try and simulate skateboarding. The graphics are beautiful, the game has plenty of extra features, and if you are looking for a skateboarding simulation game, you won't be disappointed with EA Skate.

Disposable - A History of Skateboard Art - Book Review
Disposable - A History of Skateboard Art is 228 pages of full color, featuring over 1000 skateboard graphics from over the last 30 years. But the book is far more than a gallery of photos - longtime skateboard artist Sean Cliver gives his insights into the history of the art, and also into the evolution of the industry. Disposable, A History of Skateboard Art is packed with long quotes from pro skaters, and opens a window into more than just the art, but the heart and history of skateboarding.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 - Console Game Review
The Tony Hawk games dynasty has dominated the video game world for years, and been only barely contested. The Tony Hawk Pro Skater games let you play the role of your favorite pro, or let you make up your own character and try to compete your way to the top. Tony Hawk's Underground took players deeper into the experience with role playing aspects, and players tried to prove themselves as a rookie skater. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 takes another turn - bigger, better, and much much crazier.
Tony Hawk Underground
Tony Hawk Underground (THUG) departs from the usual Tony Hawk Pro Skater series quite a bit. It still has the huge tricks, the combos, similar controls and feel, but it plays more like an role playin game than the older Pro Skater games. The game pulls players into the world of becoming a pro skater. You start the game as an amateur skater with no sponsors, and as the game progresses you add sponsors, learn new tricks, and meet famous pro skaters. It's a fun and creative game.
Bones Brigade Video Tunes CD
Back in the 80s, a series of skateboard videos hit the scene - Bones Brigade Video Show, Future Primitive and Animal Chin. If you remember these videos, you'll love this CD - 25 songs from these early skate videos, all original and made for the movies. A great old school compilation for any old school skater, or for newer skaters who want to own a piece of history. This was the start of it all.
Steve Caballero Bandology Vol.1 CD
This CD is a collection of music from four bands that Steve Caballero was involved in - The Faction, Odd Man Out, Shovelhead and Soda. (bands spanning from 1982 to 1996), plus two bonus songs. The CD has a huge variety from punk to rock, and since Steve plays guitars and bass, there's even variety in the vocals on the CD.
Skateboard Mom Children's Book Review
Skateboard Mom is a children's book written by Barbara Odanaka and illustrated by JoAnn Adinolfi. The story features a boy who gets a skateboard for his 8th birthday, only to have his mom whisk the skateboard off and start riding like a pro! The story has a great message and a funny ending - all written in a catchy rhyme that should keep any kid interested. The art is strange, but catchy - for children's books, this one is a great choice - from the Penguin Group, and G. P. Putnam's Sons.
