When I say custom designed, I mean that you, the buyer, get to set up your own longboard, from trucks and wheels and deck shape, to the actual combination of graphic and colors on the deck itself. Bustin Boards are a great, unique, new idea - and they ride well, too! Bustin Boards - Build your Own BoardBustin Boards was started by a group of friends who loved to bomb hills, and eventually started making their own boards. Their idea was to create boards that were both quality, and artful. Years later, the result is what Bustin Boards is today - high grade carvers with nice response, blasted with beautiful and yet simple graphics in any color you might want.Buying a Bustin Board is like shopping for a Dell computer. First, you pick out the shape you like, between Complex (larger with a strong tail) and Cigar (smaller, more maneuverable). I tried out a Complex deck, and I'm very happy I did! You can also pick your trucks (Gullwing Mission or Seismic 45s) and wheels (Kryptonic Classics or 3DM Avalons). Bustin Boards - Sweet Artwork![]() Bustin Boards Graphics and Artwork Photo Credit - Bustin Boards Bustin Boards artwork should be perfect for just about anyone. The style is subtle, sort of iconic with solid shapes and colors. And with the way you can personalize your colors, the graphics can be as loud or as calm as you want! There are over 30 different colors you can pick for each area of the board (usually four different areas). It's ridiculous. It's awesome. Bustin Boards - My ExperienceI tried out a Complex Bustin Board, with Gullwing Mission 1 Trucks and 70 mm clear white Kryptonics Classics wheels. My graphic was Stoked, with orange, green and clear. It's beautiful, and more importantly, it's perfect for carving, which is something I flat out love to do. The Cigar board might be smaller and more maneuverable, but I love having a nice strong tail to use. Plus, I'm big, so I like bigger boards! The weird thing about the Complex deck is the stability. I would expect stability like this out of a larger board. The shape and bend of the deck, and these sweet Gullwing trucks combine to make a board that I felt extremely comfortable on. Plus, the board had the right amount of flex and response to turns. ![]() Bustin Boards Complex Deck Longboard Review Photo Credit - Bustin Boards |
