Skatebreak Cruiser 42 Review
Skatebreak Cruiser 42 Review - Skatebreak Skateboard Breaking System. Skatebreak makes break systems for skateboards, and downhill luge skateboards with built in breaking systems. A reader named Hans bought a Cruiser 42 longboard with built in skatebreaks, and has some great insights.
Feeline Skates Review
Freelines are insane, is the opening quote that tester Trent gave me after spending a month trying out Freeline Skates. Feeelines are basically small metal plates with grip on the top, and two 72 mm longboard wheels underneath. They don’t strap to your feet, and you can’t stand still while standing on them. One per foot, they sort of create a skateboarding effect, except that it’s nothing like skateboarding at all.
Freebord Review
Freebords are alternative skateboard created to simulate the feel of snowboarding on pavement closely as possible. On a Freebord, you can carve as well as slide just like on a snowboard. Check out this Freebord review by Scott Leipprandt to find out more about Freebords, and to see if a Freebord is the right kind of alternative skateboard for you.
Flowboard Review
The Flowboard by Flowlab is a large skateboard-style deck with two unique trucks that each hold seven wheels fixed in an arch. The result is a skateboard that turns and flows in a different way than more traditional pin trucks with two wheels each...
Nuclear Pickle Review
The Nuclear Pickle by Flowlab is a longboard with adjustable trucks and a low hanging deck. The Nuclear Pickle rides smoothly, and the construction of the board and the torsion of the trucks allows for some deep dipping, while the flexibility of the deck gives good feedback. The board does have some issues -
Tierney Rides T-Board Review
The T-Board from Tierney Rides is a unique type of board. Basically, the T-Board is a large two wheeled deck with a set of custom torsion one-wheeled trucks. Yes, that means the T-Board has only 2 wheels, and the design gives one of the smoothest carves around, with a great potential in crossover training for snowboarding (along with other board sports). Read this Tierney Rides T Board review for more info on the Tierney Rides T-Board, a skateboard that rides like a snowboard. The T-Board.
Loaded Vanguard Carver Review
Loaded makes several innovative carving skateboards, along with snowboards. All of thier boards have the same vertical laminate composite contruction that help give a springy, flexible feel and a bold, natural look. The Loaded Vanguard is designed to be a ballanced all-around carver, good for tackling almost everything you'll want to ride. It's not a trick skateboard, and not so much a longboard as it is a pure carverving machine.
The Wave Review
The Wave is a new, very unique riding system. The board rides on two wheels, each on a pivot so that the board can turn freely - confused? Take a look.
Stowboard Review
The Stowboard is a wild new innovation - it's something like a skateboard, that folds up into a compact little unit that can be fit easily into a backpack. It's very high tech, solid, and cool. It doesn't ride just like a skateboard, but it's similar. Read the review for more info on this invention.
