Learn to 360 Flip!

Tuesday May 20, 2008
360 flip skateboard trick instructions360 flips are one of the coolest looking technical tricks to learn. The 360 Flip (also known as a "tre-flip") looks similar to a kickflip, except that the board spins on two axis. If you are imagining a very sweet trick in your mind, then you're probably got it right!

360 flips are difficult intermediate skateboard tricks to learn, so you really need to be confident in a few areas before you learn to tre-flip. You should be a fairly good skater all around, and know how to kickflip and shuvit.

Learning to 360 flip usually takes some time and effort, but it's definitely worth it! Learn how to 360 flip today!

Blind skateboarder shreds ramps

Monday May 19, 2008
Take a look at this video of Tony Hawk interviewing Tommy Carroll, a young teenage skater who rips up ramps, and who is totally blind. The video is pretty flooring, and inspirational to a massive degree. If you think you might be too old, or too heavy, or that you don't have the balance - or any excuse, really - just take a look at this kid and realize that anything is possible!

You might also remember this article called Blind Speed about Daredog, a blind girl who picked up street skating and taught herself. It's amazing.
