Guide Review - Vans T-Shirts review (fall 2004)
Overall, the series seems to be going for an older, rough, street look - reaching back to Van's past and drawing from it's huge heritage. There's the classic "Vans" T that says just that, in the classic style, large and in center. There's the "Defend Skate" T with it's sand washed look, or the fatty skateboard graphic with "off the wall" etched inside.
There's also louder styles, like the Dr. Tee with the graphic of hands with strings tied between that spell out "Vans" - this is the shirt shown on this review. These come with bright blue print, or on a bright blue or purple shirt! A couple of our testers thought this was the ugliest shirt they'd seen - which means it's probably perfect.
This fall's lineup looks like it might have a little something for everyone - most have the simple, one color print. I'm personally a big fan of simplicity - if you are too, check out this fall's lineup of Vans T-shirts, and you'll find something you like. None of the shirts are total bombs, and none stand out like the T-Shirt of the gods. But really, if there was a shirt like that, it would probably be pretty expensive, and your mom probably wouldn't let you wear it skating...
