Guide Review - Shoes - Nike Zoom Air URL
Beyond comfort, those technical features add a lot to your riding. The sticky rubber soles are awesome. They cut away a lot right at your arch, which you don't see very much in skate shoes. This does make the URLs look even more like running shoes, but that really doesn't matter, does it? What matters is how well the shoe works for skating, and this design actually helps a lot. With a shape closer to your foot's, you have more control, and the sticky grippy rubber of the sole wraps up the sides and on the toe and heel a bit, to add even more control right where you want it. One drawback though is that the shoes have no special toe caps - so, if you get the ones with suede one them like mine, you are going to rip that up. But, if you skate, you know that ripping up your shoes is inevitable, and Nike has done as much as they can by making the suede super durable. If you tend to rip up the toes of your shoes, you might want to try something besides suede.
