Globe Mullens are the Rodeny Mullen pro model from Globe Shoes. Rodeny Mullen is well known as one of, if not THE best skater alive. He's also extremely clever and technically minded - and the Globe Mullen skate shoes are packed with features. The sole is made with varying densities of rubber, the heel airbag is high tech, the upper is made of layered leathers, and the tongue is one of the most thickly padded out there. This is a great, heavy duty skateboarding shoe.

Mullens have some very cool special features. First off, they have a dual density heel air cell with separate inner and outer chambers. This is all set within a molded polyurethane midsole. This is a totally new design. The central inner air cell is set to 10 PSI, which cushions the heel and adds comfort. The outer cell is filled to 25 PSI to increase stability and to help prevent your heel from rolling. This whole Nitrocel™ Dual Density sole setup is enhanced by "molded arch shanks" which add more stability and strength. So what's all this mean? This this shoe feels good, and actually helps protect your feet and ankles, while at the same time enhancing your skating just a little.
The sole is also made of not two, but THREE types of rubber, to give higher density to areas where you want it for skating (such as under the big toe and and outside heel), while also remaining grippy in areas such as the outside of the foot under the pinky toe. The upper is made from layered leather, adding extra strength to high abrasion areas. Mullen says, "The result is that the shoes basically feel broken in straight out of the box."
