If you are looking for a good size backpack, either for school or for a long skate trip, this backpack is perfect - and it's set at a great price.
Pros
  • Durable - the pack is made of heavy duty material.
  • Comfortable - gel pads in the back, with contoured shoulder straps - this is a comfy pack.
  • Bonus CD player pocket with a cord hole, and cell phone pocket on the shoulder.

Guide Review - Backpack - DC Cargo

When picking out a backpack, there's tons of things to think about. Does it have enough pockets, is it comfortable on the shoulders, is it tough - the Cargo has all these, plus it looks cool!

For pockets, the Cargo is covered with them. It has one large inside pocket, a small top padded pouch for a CD player, Two front pockets of different sizes - one perfect for holding a pack of CDs, and the other for small loose stuff. And finally it's got two large side pockets, with Velcro mesh bags on the outside. Now, I'm really not sure what you could use the mesh for - at first I thought a drink bottle, but they're too small. But, conveniently, the pockets themselves are plenty big enough for a drink. And, last but not least, there's a cell phone pouch on the right shoulder strap!

And those shoulder straps are nice and padded, set up smartly so that the bag sets comfortably on the shoulders, not sagging to your butt like some backpacks out there. And there's a built in handle between the straps to carry the bag in your hand if you want.

The only real draw back is that on one side, the skateboard straps get in the way of getting into the main compartment. On one side, the straps unclips to get your board out, but on the other side the strap is permanent, and is in the way of the opening.

But this is a weak complaint. As skateboard backpacks go, this is by far one of the best thought out, most comfortable, and more durable. And, like icing on a cake, it's only about $60 US.
