Guide Review - Pads - Crash Pads Pro Pant
The pads are situated very well - not scored, but actually separated into contoured pockets, and sewn into the shorts using a very tough fabric. The pads are also a special high impact resistant design, patented by Crash Pads. I found the pants to be very comfortable - more comfortable than the Crash Pads Underwear. If you fall between sizes (like I always do) when ordering the Pro Pads, order the smaller size. They're stretchy.
The Pro Pant can be worn on the outside of your clothing, but it works well under shorts or snowpants as well. The legs are slightly longer than the Crash Pads Underwear model, so they may show under some shorts. But, if you are riding hard, trying a new trick, competing, or tend to go big, the pro pant is well worth it. This pad works with any sport, is sleek enough to wear under clothing, and yet is tough enough to wear as shorts. Wether on ice, snow, concrete, dirt, or who knows what else, the Crash Pads Pro Pant should work well.
And that's the bottom line. The Pro Pant is designed for athletes who want to be more edgy, more aggressive - who want to push their limits, but don't feel like busting their butts.
