Become Friends With Tony Hawk on Xbox Live

The new Tony Hawk game, Tony Hawk Ride, didn't do anywhere near as well as Activision was hoping when it came out. The game has received less-than enthusiastic reviews, and Tony has decided to do something about it!

The video game site Kotaku reported that Tony twittered, "On XboxLive right now playing @thride. Gamertag: tonyinegypt Who wants some?" earlier this week. Later he posted to confirm that he would friend anyone who sent him a request.

It's good to see Tony Hawk get behind his game! I'm also curious why his gamertag is Tony in Egypt...? Weird. Get online and check him out - his avatar looks a lot like him (skinny, with mirrored shades and a Quiksilver shirt), and he likes Halo 3 and Mortal Kombat!
