New Tony Hawk game announced FRIDAY!

Wednesday May 13, 2009
Two days ago, Tony Hawk dropped a bomb on Twitter, when he posted, "May 15 all will be revealed about our new game (dropping this year). I have been harboring the secret long enough."

Since then, there have been rumors flying all over the internet about his new game. What's it going to be called? What about features? Is it going to be better than EA's SKATE 2?

Joystiq reported a while back that there was possibly a new Tony Hawk game in the works called Tony Hawk Adrenaline. A while ago, Activision was quoted as saying that the game "Won't be played with a controller in your hands." Joystiq thinks that this might mean the game will come with some kind of balance board for the Xbox and Playstation.

Planet Tony Hawk, a site dedicated to the Tony Hawk video games, has printed some text from a leaked screenshot that reads,

"In Tony Hawk's Adrenaline a new motion sensing board controller takes your game off the couch and launches you into the ultimate skateboarding experience. Thanks to an intuitive board based control scheme it's never been easier to pull off amazing tricks and feel the sensation of skateboarding. Shift your weight to turn and balance grinds, kick back on the tail of the board to ollie and lean into airs to pull off huge spins. Feel the sensation of dropping into a 60ft mega ramp, bombing down the worlds steepest streets, and watching the earth disappear beneath your board as you launch out of a halfpipe. Next gen graphics amplify the fun as you ride through thrilling situations like these. Put down the controller, step on the board and feel the sensation of going big."
Sounds spicy! And to add more to the intrigue and suspense, Planet Tony Hawk went on to say that on the place where they found the above quote they read, "Tony Hawks Huck Jam uses a motion sensing board controller". Is this the same game, but with a different title? Are there two games? There are also whisperings about Tony Hawk's Amplitude ... Now what is THAT?!

The game will be revealed this Friday on the May 15th episode of Game Trailers TV. If you know anything more about this game, or have predictions about it, please post a comment below!

I predict the game will be so sweet and will be not only the best Tony Hawk game, but the best skateboarding game ever made. I also predict that at least one of these bands will be on the soundtrack to Tony Hawk Ride Gang Green, Common Enemy, Pavement, Operation Ivy, Dillinger Four, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fugazi, Minor Threat, The Evens, Inquisition, Bukue One, Q and not U, Blink 182, The Ataris, Modest Mouse, No Age, and Inside Out.

the tony hawk games have sucked, they do suck, and they always will suck. half the things you do on that game are like impossible!

here is a typical example of a tony hawk mission: “kay, so we’re gonna kickflip mctwist over this helicopter, land on the quarter pipe, ollie onto a telephone wire, darkslide it, then then 900 spin off of it.”

they just completely ruin skating. the skate games are alot better, i like them, but theyre still not completely realistic.

P.S. tony hawk games and jonas brothers are gay
