Spring back on your board!

I don't know about where you live, but here in Oregon the weather has been picking up over the last few weeks! It's still unreliable, but we've had some incredible sunny days.And of course, on those days there's nothing better to do than skate! Just last Saturday, a skater kid even came to my door asking to borrow a screwdriver, to adjust his buddy's trucks. I love spring!
So, if you live somewhere in the North half of the world, you might be going through the same thing. Maybe the warm weather is melting the ice out of your bones, and you're thinking, "Enough of this skating in my garage! Enough of practicing tricks in my living room! And ENOUGH of playing skateboarding video games - I'm heading outside!" Go for it! Here are some things to hopefully help you get back on your skateboard after a winter off:
- If you're an older skater, or are recovering from injury, here are some stretches for skaters.
- Tune up your skateboard, by replacing the bushings or cleaning the bearings.
- If you were new to skating last year, then you might want to remind yourself of the skateboarding essentials.

That’s why I love it here in Sunny Florida, the skating never stops! Winter is the best time to skate in Florida!
Hi Steve! I tell you what here in South Brazil is Fall Time and the weather is still fine for skating. I’m gonna finish my job till Friday and next week I’ll be free to stay all day in my local skatepark with my mates. Cheers folks.
