Danny Way gets busted up ... again

Monday November 24, 2008
At the Oi Mega Ramp contest, held in San Paulo, Brazil, Danny Way took a very harsh fall, breaking two vertebrae. You can see a video with clips from the event, and with Danny Way's fall on Youtube. They say he's going to be out for several months, but he should be back in action by next summer.

For those not familiar with Danny Way, he's the skater who jumped the Great Wall of China, who holds several world records in skateboarding, and who invented the Mega Ramp. He broke his foot when jumping the great wall of China, and then went on to win a gold medal at the X Games only a few days later. With a broken foot. He's been busted up many many times, and I'm sure they're right when they say he'll be back in action soon. If anything, the life of Danny Way has shown that he's not one to give up, or to retire quietly when injured!
