LG Action Sports World Championships

The action sports tournament season isn't done just yet - now we have the LG Action Sports World Championships! This year, the contest will be held in Seattle at the Key Arena from October 31st to November 2nd.

I wonder if they'll be going with a Halloween theme? It would be lame if they did ... and yet kinda lame if they didn't ...

The LG Action Sports World Championships (they need a shorter name... I'm just sayin') features the world’s elite action sports pros in Skateboarding, BMX, Inline Skating and Freestyle Motocross. Only the "best" athletes in the industry are invited to compete for these honors, based on their event results throughout the 2008 season. They include: Chaz Ortiz, Bucky Lasek, Ryan Sheckler, Bob Burnquist, Shaun White, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Paul Rodriguez, Jake Brown, and more than 150 others.

Times to be there:
• Session 1 - Friday, Oct. 31 - 7:30 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm)
• Session 2 - Saturday, Nov. 1 - 1:00 pm (doors open at 12:00 pm)
• Session 3 - Saturday, Nov. 1 - 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm)
• Session 4 - Sunday, Nov. 2 - 2:00 pm (doors open at 1:00 pm)

There will also be some sick music choices each night. Friday night gets The Game, Saturday day gets MXPX, Saturday night gets Pennywise and Sunday gets Hoobastank. This is a great lineup! I wish I could be there ... If YOU can, then check it out, and come back and let me know how it went!
