AST Dew Tour hits Portland with new street course

The third stop of the five stop AST Dew Tour is this weekend (August 21st to 24th) in Portland, Oregon.

But this is going to be more than just the mid point of the tour - at this stop there will be a new street-focused skate course. This is the first time in Dew Tour history that the skateboard park course will focus on the elements of street skating with a plaza-inspired design. That's what this picture is of - check out a larger picture of the street course.

The street-focused course in Portland will feature stairs, rails, jersey barriers, and cement ledges along with elements that will give the course a real-life feel – including a picnic table, fire hydrant, brick stamped Skatelite, and shrubbery. Legendary professional skateboarder Eric Koston was granted a wildcard to compete in the event, as his specialty is technical, street-skating.
