X Games Hype

If you watch ESPN at all, you've probably seen the new X Games commercials. They feature a guy that looks like Dr. Doom with an afro. It's extreme.

The X Games are now only a few weeks away - they run from July 31st to August 3rd. Earlier this year, there was talk about having no vert skateboarding, but everyone freaked out. Seriously. So, vert is back, and now there's also an amature vert contest! It'll be sweet to see some new blood on the ramp. Along with vert, there will be street and the mega ramp, plus this year there's a "superpark" contest. That's a lot of skateboarding! Moto X, BMX and rally car racing will be there too.

I was going to put a list of all of the invited skateboarders here, but on second thought that would be insane. And extreme. Extremely insane. It's a big list.
