Legends of skateboarding honored

Tomorrow Transworld Skateboarding magazine is hosting its 10th annual skate awards. Transworld asked the world's top skateboarders to decide, "who rode the best, who stepped up when others backed off, and who didn't break under pressure." The winners will be revealed tomorrow night, and Tony Hawk will be receiving the TWS Legend Award.Legendary skaters present will be Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston, Lance Mountain and many more. I’d second rodney mullen. Tony hawk is an obvious answer, and if hasn’t won every award then he should get this one. I’d throw jamie thomas in there for starting the “hammers” period of skating, and then right back to the entire girl/lakai/chocolate team for the new wave of tech, which is much more interesting to me than the hammers of yore. Oh, and of course me for landing a tre flip the other day.
Christian Hosoi by far has more style weather pulling off a big air or hittin’ the street scene! He’s got my vote!

can’t really deny koston either, although his latest flared part, while amazing, fell a little short of expectations. I have seen him at demos as well and he never really turns it on.
